What’s New Wednesday

Tomorrow, March 24, students are being dismissed at 2:00 P.M. due to parent teacher conferences. On Monday, March 28, there will be a two hour early dismissal for professional development.

Side by Side will offer a summer program, ‘EXCELerate Side by Side,’ for five weeks in early July through early August 2022. We appreciate your patience as we continue to work out details regarding the format and staffing for our summer program. Next week we will be meeting with the Carver
Foundation of Norwalk to finalize plans. We will be in touch soon with further details. Stay tuned!

There is just one more week to return pizza kit order forms to support the PTCO spring fundraiser, in partnership with Planet Pizza, 607 Main Ave. Please see the Pizza Kit pre-pay order form attached to this email for all the details. On April 1st, send a photo of your pizza masterpiece to
spalmer@sbscharter.org for the newly launched SBS Instagram account.

The Scholastic Book Fair will be at Side by Side in the gymnasium during the week of April 4-8. Please use this link to enter our Scholastic home page to get a sneak peak of the collection and create an e-wallet for your child. Flyers will be sent home in backpacks at the end of March.

The 8th grade class has planned a Spirit Week Fundraiser during the week of March 21st– 25th to raise funds for their trip to Washington D.C. in May. Please see the flyer for further details.

The PTCO (it’s been a while…) is having a spring fundraiser event in partnership with Planet Pizza, 607 Main Ave. in Norwalk. Please see the Pizza Kit pre-pay order form attached to this email for all the details.
