Eid al-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims worldwide because it marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-dusk fasting of Ramadan.

Seventh Graders will learn more about Long Island Sound as coastal explorers. Students will leave school at 8:30 AM and spend the day at SoundWaters in Stamford's Cove Island Park. They will return to school by 2:20 PM.
