At Side By Side Community School, we have two early childhood classrooms for children that are 3 years old and 4 years old. Each class is on a full day, 9am to 3:30pm, schedule for the school year.

  • Each class is taught by a CT certified early childhood teacher and a classroom assistant.
  • There are 15 children in our 3s class.
  • There are 18 children in our 4s class.
  • Children remain with their assigned teachers for 2 full years as they move towards Kindergarten.

Lottery placement into age specific classrooms is open to children that are 3 or 4 years old before September 1st.
